This is the debut record from Devon based five-piece Hearing Aid Beige. The music ranges from Brian Wilson-esque confessionals with kaleidoscopic nods to the past, to laid back indie pop influenced by the likes of Mac Demarco and Connan Mockasin. The result is a sort of Devon hammock rock, with the country lanes and coastal vistas woven into nostalgic vocal harmonies, bendy guitar lines, dreamy choruses and pastel colours.
