The trio of Keiji Haino, Jim O’Rourke, and Oren Ambarchi return to Black Truffle with their 10th release, recorded live in Tokyo in February, 2017.

This album, like its title, is a sum of parts: solo performances by Connors and Ambarchi bookend a duo.

This first-time vinyl reissue has been carefully mastered from the original master tapes and includes liner notes by musician Jim O'Rourke and author Branden W. Joseph.

American Water was first released two decades ago. The album has been half-speed mastered at Abbey Road to provide depth and nuance for all future vinyl listeners.
