From his birth place in Tokyo, to New York and now Germany, Nao Katafuchi’s sound has travelled across many terrains in electronic music. A dichotomy of tight staccato beats overlaid with sweeping gestural melodies, leaves an electronic imprint on the mind of the listener. In ‘Stahlgrau’ Nao Katafuchi transfers a world of lyrical possibilities from his imagination to ours, bringing us synth full of expansive romantic sensibility.
TONN Recordings is an independent record label based in Belfast. Founded in 2016 by visual artist Mary McIntyre, it is dedicated to electronic music. Home of select synth, it releases the best in contemporary coldwave and electro, working closely with the most active and creative electronic artists in the underground minimal synth scene, across Europe and the US.
