"I don’t call myself a poet and I don’t call these things poems I don’t call them anything just stuff I write I chop them into short lines so you can take it easy while reading and so they look like poems it’s easier to go along with convention and let you call them what you will but don’t be fooled it’s just stuff that occurs to me at odd moments and which I scribble in my notebook I don’t think this is a substantial aesthetic of poetry or is it an articulate poetics of aesthetics that’s a lot of don’ts for one paragraph here’s one more
